West Coast rapper Doja Cat might have come through with the most memorable verse on singer Ariana Grande and rap star Megan Thee Stallion‘s “34+35” remix with a nod to hip-hop troll Tekashi 6ix9ine.
Doja Cat Teases Tekashi 6ix9ine
On the must-hear record, Cat playfully gets at 6ix9ine. Doja gets freaky with her lyrics and admits she’s all for the bedroom activities – minus Tekashi.
“I want that six nine, without Tekashi,” Doja raps. “And I want your body, and I’ll make it obvious/Wake up the neighbors, we got an audience/They hear the clapping, but we not applauding ’em/six o’clock and I’m crushing/Then it get to seven o’clock now he want it/When it hit eight o’clock we said f*ck it/Forget your girl, pretend that I’m her/Come make the cat purr/come make my back hurt aye/Making that squirt and rain and shower and spray/Now that’s perfect baby/We don’t sleep enough but I’mma keep you up/If you could keep it up”
Hours prior, Ariana went online to get fans hyped about her “34 + 35” remix.
Fans woke up to the best news with the announcement of hitmakers Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, and Ariana Grande collaborating. The female artists are set to release a remix version of Grande’s “34+35” track tonight, according to Ariana’s Instagram. The collab was teased earlier this week when Grande posted a promotion graphic for the single with two people standing beside her but hidden.
Ariana Grande’s New Remix
Grande’s must-hear remix stems from her fall 2020 album. Meg also recently put out her own studio release.
The new remix follows the music video for the original song, helmed by Director X and released in November. “34+35” features on Grande’s most recent studio album, Positions, which came out in October. Since then, she’s released a Christmas collaborationwith Mariah Carey and a Sweetener-era concert film for Netflix. Megan’s latest album Good News was also released last year. (Pitchfork)
The Initial Tease

“Positions” singer Ariana Grande is teasing a new remix version of her popular track 34+35 and it has hip-hop fans beside themselves. According to the rumor mill, Grande’s collab partners might be fellow pop singer/rapper Doja Cat and the legendary Nicki Minaj. It was previously speculated that the trio would collaborate on a song called DNA, but Doja Cat shot the rumor down when she explained it was purely a fan-made rumor.
