Long Beach rapper Daz Dillinger is here to spill all the tea. During a recent interview, the West Coast rap veteran provided some insight as to why longtime collaborator Snoop Dogg and Detroit rapper Eminem have been feuding.
Daz Dillinger Reveals Where Beef Started
The longtime Snoop Dogg collaborator might have just revealed where their beef ignited. DD admits Eminem refused to spit a guest verse and ever since then, it’s been bad blood between the two as Double G it personal. Note that Snoop, at one point, said Slim wasn’t in his list of the top ten best rappers of all time.
“That’s where we’re leaning towards right now. If Royce was my man or Joe was my man and I don’t like…or Daz drop something that I don’t like and I say, ‘Yeah, I don’t like that, that’s not my favorite Daz thing.’ Is Daz gonna have beef with me because of that? Like, this is crazy. Because we’re famous, we can’t have [an] opinion. I can’t say I don’t like—and that’s what this whole little Eminem, Snoop sh*t derived from.” -Royce Da 5’9″
“He took it personally, and that’s why you never heard a song from Snoop and Em since then.” – Daz Dillinger
Royce Da 5’9 Speaks On Their Beef
Detroit rapper Royce Da 5’9 spoke on the matter in the “Drink Champs” interview as well. He backed up his friend Slim Shady but also said he didn’t need to actually diss Snoop on a song.
“He was just like, damn… the energy that was coming off of Snoop in that interview, [whether] he meant no harm or not, I think he just looked at it like, it’s a more respectful brotherly way to say what you said,. But I agree, it didn’t have to be a diss in a song behind it.” – Royce Da 5’9″
Daz Speaks On Eminem + Snoop Dogg Beef
The most talked-about lines from Eminem’s new Music to Be Murdered By – Side B album are the lyrical shots he takes at fellow hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg. The Dogg Pound founding member and Snoop Dogg’s cousin Daz Dillinger recently reacted to the tensions brewing between Slim Shady and SD.
“@eminem diss @snoopdogg WOW,” Das wrote on Instagram with fire and explosion emojis. “WHATS NEXT FROM THE TWO ICONZ OF RAP, WOW.”
Eminem Takes Aim At Snoop Dogg
On the song “Zeus” from his new album Music to Be Murdered By – Side B, Eminem raps, “As far as squashin’ beef, I’m used to people knockin’ me / But, just not in my camp / I’m diplomatic ’cause I’m tryna be / But last thing I need is Snoop doggin’ me / Man, dog, you was like a d*mn god to me / Man, not really / I had ‘dog’ backwards.”
