Dave Chappelle recently announced how he’d be giving back to the Buffalo community. Near the tail-end of a show in New York, Dave offered to donate all ticket sales to the families of those killed and injured on May 14th.

Three-time “Best Comedy Album” Grammy-winning comedian Dave Chappelle recently stopped by Buffalo, New York for an impromptu show. The “ Sticks & Stones “ comedian announced his charitable contribution after performing at Shea’s Performing Arts Center on June 5th. According to Shea’s marketing and communications chair Kevin Sweeney, Chappelle stated, “I came here to Buffalo to recognize the victims and for these families.”
Outpouring Of Online Support
In related news, Tops Market and the National Compassion Fund started a GoFundMe page to raise money for the surviving victims of the shooting. The fundraiser states, “one hundred percent of the contributions donated to this fund will go directly to victims and survivors of this atrocity”.
GoFundMe also has an official page where other verified fundraisers for victims’ families may be found. The victims include Andre McNeil, who went to Tops grocery store to purchase a birthday cake for his son AJ on the child’s 3rd birthday, and retired police officer Aaron Salter Jr, who died trying to subdue the shooter.
