BlessedKingTheArtist a young talented singer and songwriter from Cameroon recently moved to the United States and as it usually happens, faced many obstacles as a person who tries to settle down somewhere while everything needs to be started from zero. The love and passion for music that the artist had made it easier to adjust to an American reality. In 2019 he spent all of his savings and bought equipment to create songs and covers but he came across the criticism over his sound quality. He recorded his song “Devil’s Gospel” at a professional recording studio and that is when he realized he had to take his musical career seriously.
As a result, BlessedKingTheArtist released his first single “Tennessee” on September 4th, 2020. The single was inspired by his visit to Tennessee with one of his friends. “Tennessee” is an ideal matching of elements that remind us of the young artist’s African roots and a perfect sense of American Pop and R&B styles.
The hard work and determination eventually brought to creation not only of the single but the mesmerizing music video with some slight elements of that trendy neon pink retro-80s aesthetic style which already has about 21K views on YouTube.
