PinkPantheress graced NPR’s office to give her first Tiny Desk Concert on September 5, performing an 8-track setlist that included hits like “Illegal,” “Tonight,” and “Girl Like Me.” Watch it below.
“This is the first time having a short discography has actually played into my strengths because they have to make the set under 20 minutes and I was like ‘I got ya, that’s what, like 50 songs?’” she quipped.
The set had a sound noticeably different from PinkPantheress’ electronic music, largely due to the instrumentals supporting her performance. The star was joined by keyboard player Lisa Remar, DJ Joe Lesher-Liao, guitarist and vocalist Sofie D’Angelo, drummer Jaleacia Harris, bassist Rani Adi, and Tina Chau Leguyen, who provided keys, guitar, and background vocals.
PinkPantheress herself had a few surprises for the audience. The pop star whipped a harmonica out during her first song, “Attracted to You”; during other tracks, she made blue eggshakers, chimes, and the cowbell look newly chic.
The majority of the songs were drawn from PinkPantheress’ 2021 project To Hell with It and her latest mixtape, Fancy That, released in May 2025..
