Victoria Monét is getting ready for the holidays with a Christmas album made up of instrumentals from her 2023 project, Jaguar II. The festive A Jaguar II Christmas: The Orchestral Arrangements includes Christmas-themed updates on the original song titles, with “Stop (Askin’ Me 4Shyt)” into “Stop (Askin’ Me 4Gifts)” and so on. Monét worked with composer Maurice “Pirahnahead” Herd and a live orchestra on the album. It is her second Christmas album following 2020’s A Jaguar Christmas.
Jaguar II was released last year and was named Best R&B Album at the 2024 Grammy Awards. Monét picked up the Best New Artist gong that night, too. In August she shared “SOS (Sex on Sight),” a collaboration with Usher.
