Less than 24 hours after first announcing the album, Justin Bieber has dropped SWAG. Bieber’s seventh album was “inspired by his devotion as a husband and father,” per a press release, and marks his first project since Justice was released in 2021.

Here’s a breakdown of everything you need to know about the record.

Who did Bieber work with on SWAG?

The album is jam-packed, with 21 tracks spanning almost an hour. Production comes from Bieber himself alongside Carter Lang, Dylan Wiggins, Daniel Caesar, Dijon, mk.gee, Daniel Chetrit, Eddie Benjamin, Knox Fortune, and others.

Mk.gee previously spoke to the New York Times about his time writing with Bieber. “He’s searching,” the guitarist said in a 2024 interview. “Anything that comes out of his mouth: That’s pop music,” he continued. “You can really do pretty wild stuff behind that, just because it represents something.”

Which artists are featured and credited on the album?

As well as producing on the album, Dijon also contributes vocals on “Devotion.” Eddie Benjamin, a regular collaborator of Bieber’s, appears alongside Cash Cobain on the album title track while Gunna pops up on “Way It Is.” Cult rapper Lil B, who Bieber was recently spotted with in Los Angeles, makes one of his most high-profile appearances in years on “Dadz Love.” Sexyy Red, meanwhile, appears on “Sweet Spot.” Comedian Druski appears on a handful of skits between songs while the album ends with “Forgiveness,” which is credited to Marvin Winans. Winans is a pastor and member of the Winans family.

Why were there billboards for the album in Iceland?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bieber made the album between “jam sessions” at his Los Angeles home in recent months and Iceland. Bieber shared pictures from the Scandinavian country two months ago, with THR reporting he went there to “vibe out” and complete work on the project.

When Bieber started dropping teasers that SWAG was coming, one of the first billboard images shared online was located in Reykjavík.

Is there SWAG merch yet?

Not as such but Bieber also launched his clothing and lifestyle brand SKYLRK this week. Bieber has been spotted wearing a lot of the clothes in recent months, with the first collection including beanies ($40), hoodies ($140), and tanks ($60), as well as molded slide sandals ($80) and mules ($180).
