Cindy Lee has pulled their music from Spotify and Apple Music and moved to Bandcamp, with vinyl reissues of their entire catalogue also in the works.

Numerous Cindy Lee albums were on Spotify and Apple Music before they were slowly removed. The remaining two, What’s Tonight to Eternity and Model Express, were taken down yesterday (July 31). The press release announcing the news did not outline the reasoning for the decision, but the move comes as many other artists are removing their music from Spotify to protest CEO Daniel Ek’s contributions to the defense company Helsing through his investment fund.

Physical reissues of Cindy Lee’s catalogue will be released on October 31 by Superior Viaduct imprint W.25TH, Pitchfork reports. The reissues will include 2020’s Cat O’ Nine Tails, making its streaming debut, and last year’s acclaimed Diamond Jubilee, released on vinyl in February and only available to stream on YouTube.

Listen to the rare Cat O’ Nine Tails below and download, stream, and pre-order physical versions of other Cindy Lee projects on Bandcamp.
