Pop singer Amber Mark has announced a new album, Pretty Idea, due on October 10. The project will be her first full-length record since 2022’s Three Dimensions Deep, and she’s marking the news with the release of a new song, “Let Me Love You.”
“This album carries many highs and lows and lessons I didn’t know I needed,” Mark wrote in the announcement, which was posted on her Instagram page. “So excited to finally share these songs with you. Consider this my way of turning all my bad ideas into Pretty ones.”
Produced by Julian Bunetta and Matt Zara, the disco-inspired new song “Let Me Love You” is built around echoing synths and carefree, bouncing instrumentals that let Mark’s breathy vocals shine. In the music video, directed by Alfred Marroquin, Mark steps into the role of a casting director, singing as a series of dancers and athletes audition for her approval.
Mark has been busy since her last project, releasing numerous singles and the 2024 Loosies EP, a mix of songs that range from bubbling dance tracks to relaxed R&B anthems.
