According to reports, XFL has decided to suspend operations and lay off all employees. There are no intentions on bringing the league back in 2021. The eight team league was expected to start playoffs this April, but amid coronavirus concerns the league was put on hold.
A second attempt to revive the league, Vince Mcmahon and the XFL saw tremendous success garnering fans worldwide. Now with the Covid-19 pandemic affecting all sports leagues, XFL CEO Jefferey Pollack held a 10 minute conference call informing employees the league will no longer continue.
