Earlier in 2019, Trina’s team & fans went at Nicki Minaj for not shooting the music video for their collaboration “BAPS.”, Trina’s first single off her album.
Trina, released a video to all her fans to shed some light on her the issues plaguing her album. She didn’t go too much into detail about it, but did tell her family members and fans that they should always be positive and happy for her. She took the blame herself and said business was not done right and she knows her team fucked up.
Well now on Love and Hip Hop: Miami first episode we know more details as to what actually happened with Trina and her album – and all fingers are pointing to her ex manager Julian Boothe. Trina mentioned that Julian Boothe, took a $300k advance for her album and spent it on his own record label ( label name not disclosed due to shame – we don’t support bad business). In the first episode we find out that Julian, is now managing, Amara la Negra another star on Love and Hip Hop: Miami.
