Modern day chanteuse Raquel Kiaraa has followed-up to her previous release, the single “Release Me,” with a groovy pop ballad titled “We Know.” As usual, Kiaraa pours depth and meaning into her music, this time with a song that talks about the dark side behind perfection. “We Know” has a music video that captures the message of the song through visuals, portraying a perfect couple resembling Barbie and Ken, pointing out the real human experience filled with hardships that people usually don’t publicly share on social media.
Raquel Kiaraa’s main wake-up call is to raise awareness regarding our modern idea of perfection, and everything buried behind it. In today’s social media era, one must be aware that pictures and videos do not reflect the true reality of people’s lives, especially in terms of relationships.
