Fans of acclaimed actress Lauren London took to Twitter to share their excitement at the premiere of her new film, You People

The Netflix original movie features London and Jonah Hill as an unlikely pair that take a liking to each other after a chance encounter.

The film also boasts a star-studded cast featuring Eddie Murphy, Nia Long, Travis “Taco” Bennett, and many more acclaimed actors.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she shares how safe she felt while on set. The film’s director Kenya Barris and London previously worked on the hit sports drama The Game. 

“I felt very safe because Kenya is a friend of mine… I took in all this talent and I was grateful to be there and participate,” the ATL actress shared. 

Barris also gushed on how collaborative she was while making “You People”. “We talked about the script and she was like ‘I wouldn’t say this,” the Black-ish creator said.  “She was like ‘Can I rewrite some of this?’ and I was like ‘Yeah, tell me how you would say this.’ She wants to direct and has a really good aesthetic.”

On the topic of actors from ATL, the new horror film Fear starring T.I, Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor, and Power star Joseph Sikora also released today.

The psychological horror follows a group of friends facing their deepest fears while on a getaway at a remote hotel.

King Bach shared a series of photos of him alongside his fellow castmates.
