Atlanta rapper Rich The Kid is remembering friend and late Migos rapper, Takeoff with a new tattoo. Takeoff was shot and killed last November in Houston.
A new video on Twitter shows the 30-year-old rapper in a tattoo shop getting new ink to honor his friend, Takeoff. The tattoo was in black ink with “Takeoff” written in cursive on his right hand.
Many other rappers have honored Takeoff since his passing, including fellow Migos member and Takeoff’s uncle, Quavo. Huncho dropped the song “Without You” dedicated to the “Last Memory” rapper and gave him a shoutout at the College Football Playoff National Championship when Georgia defeated TCU.
Takeoff’s Brother Honors Late Rapper In Heartfelt Message
Everyone is still mourning the loss of former Migos member, Takeoff. His brother, YRN Lingo, honored his late brother in a heartfelt message on his Instagram. Many fans shared in his time of grief.
YRN Lingo, the brother of the late Migos rapper Takeoff, wanted to share with the world a message he had for his brother. In the post, he mentions how the “Last Memory” rapper ensured that he took great care of his family.
The Last Rocket artist always dreamed of making it big as a famous rapper and offered to buy his little brother anything if he asked for it.
Additionally, the post included childhood photos of the two, almost like a walk down memory lane for his family and supporters. Many fans offered condolences to YRN Lingo and even related to their story to help ease the family’s pain.

The death of Migos rapper Takeoff shocked the rap community. Many have expressed their sadness and paid their respects on social media. New tributes have gone out to the late rap artist, particularly in Atlanta.
The hip-hop community suffered another great loss when Migos rapper Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston. Shortly after the news, celebrities expressed their sadness and sent condolences to his family and loved ones.
One of the latest tributes to Takeoff was from the Atlanta Falcons. The sports team’s jumbotron featured the “Motorsport” rapper during their game Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.
In a recent interview, Atlanta rapper 21 Savage shared that Takeoff wasn’t the type of person to argue. “He was really quiet for real. I’ve never seen him out of character,” 21 Savage said while on the Off The Record podcast.
2010 Or 2011?
Los Angeles Lakers star forward LeBron James says he remembers listening to Migos in 2010 as a member of the Miami Heat. However, he was the target of upset fans on Twitter since the Migos released their first project, Juug Season, in 2011.
LeBron also changed his Instagram profile picture to Takeoff last week.

The hip-hop community is still mourning the death of Migos rapper Takeoff, and many have used social media to pay their respects.
One such tribute is a new mural painted in the Atlanta Beltline near the city’s Old Fourth Ward.
The mural reveals Takeoff smiling with a halo above his head with “R.I.P. Takeoff” written beside him.
Additionally, like former Migos rapper Offset, Los Angeles Lakers star forward LeBron James also set his profile picture on Instagram to Takeoff.

More celebrities such as Beyoncè, Quality Control’s Pierre “P” Thomas, Wiz Khalifa, and more have come forward to honor the late rapper and speak out against gun violence in the Black community.
One of the latest celebrities to honor Takeoff was Queen Bey, who rarely addresses trending news. She recently posted a tribute to the late artist on her official website with an image of the late Migo and a short message, which reads, “Kirshnik Khari Ball ‘TAKEOFF’ 1994-2022 Rest In Power.”

Quality Control’s Pierre “P” Thomas also spoke his piece. The record label owner, under which the Unc & Phew rapper was signed, took to his Instagram and urged fans to respect Takeoff’s family.
He also added that he would like the Black community to remember that violence does not always have to be the result “every time there is a disagreement.”
In addition, the record label’s official Instagram posted a PSA about the tragic news on its story, where the label expresses great devastation for losing one of its dear artists.
Celebrities Continue To Mourn
Recently, Toronto rapper Drake posted an image of him performing onstage alongside Takeoff, where he reminisces about moments with the late artist.
Wiz Khalifa also took to his social media to pay his respects and implore fans to take down the footage of the senseless shooting.
“Rip take. Delete all footage and people talkin about it so it doesn’t exist.”
In contrast, artists such as 50 Cent and NLE Choppa are facing backlash for using the tragic news for “clout” or to promote a new endeavor. Recently, NLE posted a clip of him celebrating his 20th birthday with a brief, “RIP Takeoff.”
After fans flooded his comments, he said he wouldn’t let it ruin his day.
Meek Mill also took to Twitter and posted, “RIP TAKE OFF “ PRAYERS TO HIS FAMILY my god.”
Boosie, Marlon Wayans, Bow Wow + More Speak Out As The Hip-Hop Community Mourns Takeoff’s Tragic Passing
Social media grieves as more celebrities such as Marlon Wayans, Boosie, Bow Wow, and more also express their sadness and speak out against gun violence in the wake of former Migo member Takeoff’s passing.
The Curse of Bridge Hollow star Marlon Wayans is one of the latest celebrities who took to his Instagram to express sadness at the news of Takeoff’s passing. The comedian posted an image of the late rapper with a message urging “young Black men” to stop gun violence.
Wayans captioned, “There is no glory in stripping another man of his life. There is no jewelry, no cash, no argument or disagreement worth a life.”
He told fans that he was heartbroken for Takeoff’s family, friends, and other loved ones. He added, “My heart hurts for black people who’ve lost another young king at the hands of violence. I hurt for this generation… we better than this. #riptakeoff prayers and healing to your family and #themigos.”
Boosie also took to his Instagram and posted a video, saying “R.I.P. Takeoff, bruh. Smh, man…” He also sent prayers and condolences to the late artist’s loved ones.
Celebrities + Fans Mourn
Fans and fellow celebrities are deeply saddened by the news of former Migo member, Takeoff being fatally shot and have taken to their social media accounts to send out prayers to the Migos family.
“Fresh Azimizz” rapper Bow Wow was among many celebrities who spoke out, saying how it seems “unreal” since they just “did a Kevin Hart show together.”
Apple podcast host, Joe Budden appeared to be at a loss for words as he posted to Twitter, “Come the fuck on, man smmfh” despite his falling out with the Migos in the past.
G-UNIT member Lloyd Banks also took to Twitter and posted a tribute to Takeoff while sending his condolences to the late rapper’s friends and family.
Other artists, such as Keri Hilson, sent prayers and condolences to the late Unc & Phew rapper’s loved ones.
Earlier this morning, one half of rap group Unc & Phew, and former Migo member, Takeoff, was fatally shot in a bowling alley in Houston after a dice game went awry. The multi-platinum rapper was shot in or near his head and was declared dead at the scene.
Remembering Takeoff
Takeoff, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball, the youngest member of the Migos, was very well-liked in the hip-hop industry. He was also known as the quietest out of Offset and Quavo.
Fans also identified the “Messy” rapper by his deep, raspy tone whenever he spat his lyrics.
Recently, Takeoff and Quavo sat for an interview with Drink Champs ahead of releasing new visuals for “Messy,” and discussed many topics, including a possible Migos reunion.
As the hip-hop community continues to mourn the loss of another genuine, talented artist, it’s clear that Takeoff will truly be missed by many.

Lil Uzi Vert’s signed artist Lotta Cash Desoto was shot and killed in Houston, Texas, recently.
Desoto is the 7th artist once signed to Empire Records to have died in the last four years,three weeks after the passing of PnB Rock.
