On February 19th of 2020, tragedy strikes as young rising star pop smoke dies from home invasion in California. Before his death, He released a project called Meet The Woo 2. Pop Smoke’s next body of work might have been on hold since then; however, 50 Cent announced his decision to finish the late rapper’s LP on Instagram on Sunday, March 1st, 2020. The Post read: 

“I’m on the move listening to Pop smoke,” 50 wrote. “I decided I’m gonna executive produce and finish his album for him.#abcforlife #starzgettheapp #lecheminduroi #bransoncognac.”

50 already began recruiting features for the album, such as Roddy Ricch. He posted on the gram: “Tell @roddyricch I’m looking for him,..” as Roddy confirmed his participation, then called to drake. It would be wonderful to have some of the top rappers on the soon to come to LP. The recruitment went into the next day as the G-Unit Ceo calls on Chris brown in a post saying: “yo nigga I’m a need you on this record, but what da fuck you do to your hair blood.LOL, @chrisbrownofficial ..” 50 isn’t playing no games with his latest venture.
